The owner's description of the property:

San Joaquin is a very pleasant small suburban/rural town. It is centrally located for all facilities. The property is the sole holding of a C.R. Corporation. By selling the Corporation, rather than title to the property, the purchaser saves a considerable amount in property transfer tax.

The area of the house is approx. 148 sm (1,590 sf) measured the Costa Rican way, by Canadian standards the area is approx. 98 sm (1,055 sf). The difference is because in Costa Rica the areas of the porch/veranda and garage seem to be included in the house area.

The house was built some 16 years ago and 11 years ago was remodeled. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom, a large kitchen, a living/dining room running the full width of the house and a sun room.
